	บทคัดย่อ/Abstract	ศึกษาความเข้มข้นของบีต้า-แคโรทีน และโทโคฟีรอลในน้ำมันตกค้างจากตัวอย่างใยปาล์มน้ำมัน หีบร้อน และหีบเย็นโดยเปรียบเทียบการสกัด 3 วิธีได้แก่ วิธีสกัดโดยตรงที่อุณหภูมห้อง วิธีสกัดด้วย ซอกห์เลต และวิธีสกัดด้วยคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์เหนือวิกฤต โดยใช้ตัวทำละลายอินทรีย์ต่างๆ กัน ได้แก่ ปิโตรเลียมอีเทอร์ เมทิลเอทิลคีโตน อะซิโตน ไอโซโพรพานอล เฮกเซน เฮกเซนผสมอะซิโตน ในอัตราส่วน 1:1 เและเฮกเซนผสมไอโซโพรพานอลในอัตราส่วน 1:1 จากการทดลองพบว่า การสกัด ด้วยซอกห์เลต โดยใช้ใยปาล์มหีบร้อน 5.00 g ต่อตัวทำละลายอะซีโตนปริมาตร 250.00 mL จะได้ ความเข้มข้นของบีต้า-แคโรทีนแ ละแอลฟา-โทโคฟีรอลในน้ำมันตกค้างมากสุดเท่ากับ 46.81 mg/g oil และ 2.66 mg/g(oil) ตามลำดับ เพิ่มความเข้มข้นของบีต้า - แคโรทีน และแอลฟา-โทโคฟีรอลในน้ำมัน ตกค้างจากใยปาล์มหีบร้อนที่สกัดได้โดยกระบวนการสกัดโดยตรง โดยทำปฎิกิริยาเอสเทอริฟิเคชัน ให้น้ำมันตกค้างอยู่ในรูปขงอเมทิลเอสเทอร์ก่อน แล้วกลั่นด้วยเทคนิค short path distillation ที่ อุณหภูมิ 120 ํ C และ 6.3x10-3 mbar เป็นเวลา 5 hr พบว่าปริมาณของบีต้า-แคโรทีนในส่วนที่กลั่นได้ (distillate) เพิ่มขึ้นจากความเข้มข้นเริ่มต้น 16.74 mg/g(oil) เป็น 37.10 mg/g oil แต่ปริมาณของ โทโคฟิรอลลดลงจากความเข้มข้นเริ่มต้น 1.03 mg/g(oil) (แกมมา-โทโคฟิรอล = 0.74 mg/g (oil) และ แอลฟา-โทโคฟิรอล = 0.29 mg/g(oil)) เหลือ 0.23 mg/g(oil) (เดลต้า-โทโคฟิรอล) The amounts of?-carotene and tocopherols in the residual oil of hot-palm pressed fiber (H-PPF) and cold-palm pressed fiber were studied by 3 extraction methods, namely direct extraction at room temperature, soxh1et extraction and supercritical carbon dioxide extraction. Solvents used in the extraction process were acetone, hexane, hexane/isopropanol (I: 1), hexane/acetone (I: 1), isopropanol, methyl ethyl ketone and petroleum ether. It was found that the residual oil from soxhlet extraction of 5.00 g-(H-PPF) with 250.00 mL of acetone contained the highest concentration of ~-carotene and a-tocopherol of 46.81 mg/goil and 2.66 mg/goil' respectively. The contents of ~-carotene and a-tocopherol in the residual oil extracted from H-PPF by direct extraction process were enriched by esterification reaction to form methyl ester prior to the distillation process by short path technique at 120?C and 5.3 x 10-3 mbar for 5 hr. The content of ?-carotene in the distillate was increased from the initial concentration of 16.74 mg/goil to 37.10 mg/goi)' but that of tocopherol was decreased from the initial concentration of 1.03 mg/goi) (v-tocopherol = 0.74 mg/goi) and a-tocopherol = 0.29 mg/go) to 0.23 mg/goil (o-tocopheroI).
