	บทคัดย่อ/Abstract	การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อปาล์มน้ำมันของไทยโดยใช้ข้อมูลทุติยภูมิตั้งแต่ปีพ.ศ.2541-2550 และประมาณค่าโดยวิธีกำลังสองน้อยที่สุด (Ordinary Least Squares--OLS) ผลการศึกษาพบว่า พื้นที่เก็บเกี่ยวผลปาล์มสด และน้ำมันปาล์มของไทยมีจำนวนเพิ่มขึ้นทุกปี และจากผลการวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยกำหนดการผลิตปาล์มน้ำมันและราคาขายส่งน้ำมันปาล์มดิบมีความสัมพันธ์ในทิศทางเดียวกันกับปริมาณผลผลิตปาล์มน้ำมันที่เกษตรกรผลิตได้เป็นไปตามสมมติฐานที่ตั้งไว้ ราคาถั่วเหลืองมีความสัมพันธ์ในทิศทางตรงกันข้ามกับผลผลิตน้ำมันที่เกษตรผลิตได้ เป็นไปตามสมมติฐานที่ตั้งไว้ แต่น้ำมันดีเซลและน้ำมันสำเร็จรูปมีความสัมพันธ์ในทิศทางตรงกันข้ามกับปริมาณผลผลิตปาล์มน้ำมันที่เกษตรผลิต ไม่เป็นไปตามสมมติฐาน ทั้งนี้อาจเป็นเพราะราคาน้ำมันดิบในตลาดโลกมีการผันผวนมากในช่วง2-3ปีที่ผ่านมา และอาจเป็นเพราะเกษตรมุ่งปลุกปาล์มน้ำมันเพื่อเป็นพลังงานทดแทนน้ำมันดีเซลมากกว่าปลูกปาล์มน้ำมันเพื่อประกอบอาหาร This thematic paper investigates the factors affecting the supply of palm oil in Thailand To this end, the research has utilized secondary data for the period between 1998 and 2007. Analysis was conducted by means of application of the ordinary least squares (OLS) method . Results are as follow The area in Thailand devoted to the harvesting of fresh palm fruits and producing palm oil have increased in every year in the period under consideration in this investigation. In addition, an analysis of the factors determinative of palm oil being positive correlation between the areas devoted to harvesting fresh palm fruits and producing crude palm oil and the wholesale price of crude palm oil and volume of oil produced by agriculturists. This finding is congruent with the hypothesis posited for this investigation. ** however, it was also found that the price of soybean was inversely correlated with the volume of palm oil produced by agriculturalists. This finding was also congruent with the hypothesis posited for this investigation. Nonetheless, it was still further found that the volume of diesel oil produced and the volume of processed palm oil were inversely correlated with the volume of palm oil produced by agriculturalists. Perhaps this state of crude oil price on the world market. Crude oil price on the world market have greatly fluctuated in the last two or three year. An additional contributing factor may be that agriculturists have produce more palm oil to be use in producing an alternative source of energy than palm oil usede as a food product
