	บทคัดย่อ/Abstract	การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาบทบาทของวิทยาลัยอิสลามศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ ใน 8 ด้าน ประกอบด้วย บทบาทด้านการสอนและผลิตบัณฑิต บทบาทด้านการวิจัย บทบาทด้านการบริการวิชาการแก่ชุมชน บทบาทด้านการทำนุบำรุงศิลปวัฒนธรรม บทบาทด้านการเป็นศูนย์แห่งการเรียนรู้ บทบาทด้านการชี้น นำสังคม บทบาทด้านการติดตาม วิเคราะห์ เตือนภัย และบทบาทด้านการตัดสินข้อสงสัยในหลักการอิสลาม และเพื่อประมวลแนวทางการพัฒนาบทบาทวิทยาลัยอิสลามศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ โดยกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการตอบแบบสอบถาม ได้แก่ ผู้นำศาสนา ผู้นำชุมชน ข้าราชการ และหน่วยงานเอกชน ที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องกับวิทยาลัยอิสลามศึกษา (ผู้ที่เคยมาร่วมอบรม ประชุม และสัมมนา ที่วิทยาลัยอิสลามศึกษา) จำนวน 200 คน และกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการสัมภาษณ์ ได้แก่ บุคลากรภายในวิทยาลัยอิสลามศึกษา และบุคลากรภายนอกวิทยาลัยอิสลามศึกษา จ านวน 5 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บข้อมูล คือ แบบสอบถาม และแบบสัมภาษณ์ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ประกอบด้วย ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า บทบาทวิทยาลัยอิสลามศึกษาที่เป็นจริง ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง (x = 3.27) โดยมีบทบาทด้านการบริการวิชาการแก่ชุมชน อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด ( x = 3.75) รองลงมาบทบาทด้านการสอนและการผลิตบัณฑิต ( x = 3.66) และมีบทบาทด้านการติดตาม วิเคราะห์ เตือนภัย น้อยที่สุด ( x = 3.05) และรองลงมาบทบาทด้านการตัดสินข้อสงสัยในหลักการอิสลาม ( x = 3.19) และแนวทางในการพัฒนาบทบาทวิทยาลัยอิสลามศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ ดังนี้ 1.วิทยาลัยอิสลามศึกษา ควรขยายการจัดการเรียนการสอน ในระดับปริญญาโท ปริญญาเอก เพิ่มขึ้น รวมทั้งคิดค้นหลักสูตรที่เป็นที่ต้องการของสังคมให้มากขึ้น 2.วิทยาลัยอิสลามศึกษา ควรพัฒนาให้เป็นศูนย์กลางการวิจัยทางอิสลามศึกษาในระดับท้องถิ่น และนอกจากการสร้างผลงานวิจัยแล้ว วิทยาลัยอิสลามควรทำหน้าที่ผลิตนักวิจัยระดับเชี่ยวชาญให้มากขึ้น เพื่อรองรับการเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยวิจัยและพัฒนาสู่การเป็นเลิศด้านวิจัย และควรกำหนดแผนและนโยบาย และทิศทางด้านการวิจัยให้ชัดเจน 3.วิทยาลัยอิสลามศึกษา ควรพัฒนาการบริการวิชาการแก่ชุมชน โดยการใช้เครื่องมือสื่อสารสมัยใหม่เข้ามาจัดการ เช่น รายการวิทยุ โทรทัศน์วงจรปิด เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้สามารถบริการวิชาการแก่ชุมชนอย่างกว้างขวางและทั่วถึงมากขึ้น และเป็นการลดเวลาการให้บริการวิชาการแก่ชุมชนลงได้ โดยไม่กระทบด้านปริมาณและคุณภาพการให้บริการได้ 4.วิทยาลัยอิสลามศึกษา ควรท าวิจัย ที่เกี่ยวกับการทำนุบำรุงศิลปวัฒนธรรมที่ไม่ขัดกับหลักศาสนาอิสลาม เพื่อนำไปสู่การพัฒนาบทบาทด้านการทำนุบำรุงศิลปวัฒนธรรม 5.วิทยาลัยอิสลามศึกษา ควรส่งเสริมการผลิตตำรา ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับอิสลามศึกษาให้บุคคลผู้สนใจได้ศึกษา 6.วิทยาลัยอิสลามศึกษา ควรกำหนดแผนการปฏิบัติการด้านการชี้นำสังคม ซึ่งบทบาทด้านการชี้นำสังคมนั้นเป็นไปในลักษณะของการร่วมมือกับองค์กรภายนอก 7.วิทยาลัยอิสลามศึกษา ควรส่งเสริมและผลิตสื่อที่ใช้ในด้านการติดตาม วิเคราะห์ เตือนภัย เช่น มีการจัดรายการวิทยุ 8.วิทยาลัยอิสลามศึกษา ควรส่งเสริมและผลิตตำราเกี่ยวกับคำถาม-คำตอบที่พบบ่อยเกี่ยวกับข้อสงสัยในหลักการอิสลาม This research aims to study the roles of the College of Islamic Studies, Prince of Songkla University in eight aspects : 1) teaching and graduate production 2) research 3) academic services for communities 4) art and cultural preservation 5) learning center 6) social guidance 7) analyzing and warning system 8) decisions concerning the principles of Islam. This study also seeks ways to develop the roles of the College of Islamic Studies, Prince of Songkla University. The questionnaire was used with a sample group of 200 people including religious leaders, community leaders, government officials and private organizations in contact with the College of Islamic Studies while the interview was used with five internal and external staff of the College of Islamic Studies. Percentage, mean, and standard deviation were applied for data analysis. The study found that the roles of the College of Islamic Studies, Prince of Songkla University are at the middle level (x = 3.27). The most roles of the College of Islamic Studies contribute to academic services for communities (x = 3.75) and teaching and graduate production (x = 3.66). The least roles are decisions concerning the principles of Islam (x= 3.19) and analysis and warning system (x= 3.05), respectively. The ways to develop the roles of the College of Islamic Studies, Prince of Songkla University are as follows. 1. The College of Islamic Studies should expand its teaching in graduate degree programs and other new programs in accordance with the needs of the society, as well as increase its role in community teaching. 2. The College of Islamic Studies should develop itself to be a center of research in Islamic Studies at the local level and produce more professional researchers to serve the university's research policy and to become an excellence in research. The College of Islamic Studies also needs to make a clearer policy and its direction in research. 3. The College of Islamic Studies should apply new media tools such as radio programs and CCTV for its academic services for communities in order to access wider communities and reduce the time in providing its academic services while maintaining its quantity and quality of the services. 4. The College of Islamic Studies should promote research on art and cultural preservation which is compatible with Islamic principles. 5. The College of Islamic Studies should promote the production of textbooks related to Islamic Studies for public interest. 6. The College of Islamic Studies should cooperate with external organization to develop the role of social guidance. 7. The College of Islamic Studies should promote the use of media in the analysis and warning system such as the use of radio programs. 8. The College of Islamic Studies should promote the production of textbooks to answer the common questions about the principles of Islam.
