ผลการวิจัยพบว่า
สภาพการใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตของนักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย ใน 3 จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ในรวมพบว่าอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง เมื่อพิจารณารายด้าน ทั้งด้านวัตถุประสงค์การใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตด้านบริการอินเทอร์เน็ตที่ใช้ประจำ ด้านการเรียนรู้ทักษะการใช้งานอินเทอร์เน็ต และด้านการใช้งานอินเทอร์เน็ตเพื่อการศึกษา อยู่ในระดับปานกลางทุกด้าน ส่วนปัญหาการใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตของนักเรียน ในภาพรวม พบว่าอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง เมื่พิจารณารายด้าน ด้านการเข้าถึงอินเทอร์เน็ตและด้านช่วงเวลาในการใช้งานอินเทอร์เน็ตในสถาศึกษา พบว่าอยู่ในระดับมาก ส่วนด้านสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกต่อการใช้งานอินเทอร์เน็ตในสถานศึกษา ด้านความรู้ ทักษะต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข่องกับการใช้อินเทอร์เน็ต ด้านนโยบายในการส่งเสริมและให้บริการอินเทอร์เน็ตของสถานศึกษา และด้านการสนันสนุนจากผู้ปกครอง พบว่าอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง
ผลการเปรียบเทียบสภาพการใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตของนักเรียนตามตัวแปรด้านเพศ ระดับชั้น แผนการเรียนนักเรียนมีสภาพการใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตไม่แตกต่างกัน แต่ผลการเปรียบเทียบสภาพการใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตตัวแปรด้านประสบการณ์การใช้อินเทอร์เน็ต พบว่านักเรียนที่มีประสบการณ์การใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตมีสภาพการใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตมากกว่านักเรียนที่ไม่มีประสบการณ์การใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตอย่างมียัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .001 เปรียบเทียบตามตัวแปรด้านสภาพสังคมที่โรงเรียนตั้งอยู่ พบว่านักเรียนที่เรียนโรงเรียนในเขตอำเภอเมืองมีสภาพการใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตมากกว่านักเรียนที่เรียนโรงเรียนนอกเขตอำเภอเมืองอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .001 ส่วนผลการเปรียบเทียบปัยหาการใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตของนักเรียนตามตัวแปรด้านระดับชั้น แผนการเรียน และด้านประสบการณ์การใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตนักเรียนมีปัญหาการใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตไม่อตกต่างกัน แต่ผลการเปรียบเทียบปัญหาการใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตตามัวแปรด้านเพศ พบว่านักเรียนเพศชายมีปัญหาการใช้อืนเทอร์เน็ตมากกว่าเพศหญิงอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 และนักเรียนที่เรียนโรงเรียนในเขตอำเภอเมืองมีปัญหาการใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตมากกว่านักเรียนที่โรงเรียนนอกเขตอำเภอเมืองอย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .001
ความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนพบว่าอินเทอร์เน็ตช้ามากแลไม่สามารถเข้าถึงอินเทอร์เน็ตได้ เครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ที่สามารถใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตได้มีไม่เพียงพอและชำรุด มีปัญหาเรื่องไวรัส เวลาเปิดให้บริการมีน้อย เปิดเฉพาะมีคาบเรียนและเวลาตามที่กำหนดเท่านั้น มีข้อเสนอแนะว่า โรงเรียนควรจัดให้มีคอมพิวเตอร์ที่ใชอินเทอร์เน็ตได้ใ้เพียงพอ มีอินเทอร์เน็ตความเร็วสูง เปิดบริการให้สามารถใช้ในคาบว่างได้มากขึ้น มีคอมพิวเตอร์ที่ทันสมัย มีโปรแกรมป้องกันไวรัส มีอาจารย์คอยควบคุมดูแลการใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตและบรการให้คำแนะนำต่าง ๆ ใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตอย่างสร้างสรรค์และปลอดภัย มีการซ่อมแซมเครื่องที่ชำรุด ควรป้องกันการเข้าถึงสื่อลามกอนาจาร และอาชญากรรม มีอินเทอร์เน็ตไร้สายใช้ทุกอาคาร และอยากให้มีการสื่อสารผ่านทางเว็บบอร์ดและเว็บไซต์ของทางโรงเรียน
The purposes of this research were to study the state and problems of using the Internet of upper secondary students in the three southern border provinces, and to compare the state and problem according to these variables: sex class level, study program, experience was 388 upper secondary students in the academic year of 2008, in Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat provinces. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data was then analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and F-test.
The research rcsult found that, the overall state of using the Internet of upper secondary students was at moderate level( =3.25,S.D.=.57). considering the following aspects: objective of using the Internet, daily usage of Internet service, leaning skills of using the Internet, and using the Internet for education; they were all at moderate level ( =3.25,S.D.=.63). considering in each aspect found that, the problem of the Internet access and hour of using the Internet in school were at high level. However, facility of using the Internet in school, knowledge and skills related to the Internet usage, promoting the Internet service policy in school and supporting from parents were at moderate level.
The result of comparing the state of using the Internet of students according to sex, class level and study program found that, there was no difference towards using the Internet. Regarding the experience of using the Internet, the students who had experience, used the Internet more than the students who had no experience of using the Internet at the .001 level of significance. According to the school location, the student who studied at school located in town used the Internet more than the students studied at schools outside town at the .001 level of significance. There was no difference towards the students? opinions in problem of using the Internet . However, male students had problem of using the Internets who studied at schools located in town at the .001 level of significance.
The student? opinions, found that, the Internet was very slow and could not access, not enough computers and some of them were out of order, virus problem, and service hour was short because it was opened during class hour and scheduled time . the suggestions were that , the school should in free time . install anti-virus programs, more teachers supervise Internet usage creatively and safely, have some computers repaired, and provide enough update computers with high speed Internet access, more service Internet usage creatively and safely, have some computers repaired, and provide protection the students from accessing to pornographic and criminal media.
