1. ความยึดมั่นในหลักการอิสลามของคู่สมรสอยู่ในระดับสูง มีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 4.44 และความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับสิทธิและหน้าที่ของภริยาตามกฎหมายอิสลามอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง มีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 3.10 ค่าเฉลี่ยของตัวแปรต้นเท่ากับ 3.93 อยู่ที่ระดับปานกลาง
2. การได้มาซึ่งสิทธิของภริยาตามกฎหมายอิสลามประกอบด้วย การได้รับค่าอุปการะเลี้ยงดู การปฏิบัติ การแนะนำสั่งสอนจากสามี และการมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรทางสังคมนอกครัวเรือน มีค่าเฉลี่ย 3.68 อยู่ที่ระดับปานกลาง ส่วนการปฏิบัติหน้าที่ของภริยาตามกฎหมายอิสลาม ประกอบด้วย การเชื่อฟังและปรนนิบัติสามี การดูแลทรัพย์สินของสามี และการดูแลอบรมบุตรมีค่าเฉลี่ย 4.05 อยู่ที่ระดับบ่อยมาก ค่าเฉลี่ยของตัวแปรตามเท่ากับ 3.86 อยู่ที่ระดับปานกลาง
This research was aimed to study the rights and roles of wives in Islamic Law:
A case study of the Application in Pattani province. The review of literature had been achieved by studying verses from holy Qu?ran, prophetic traditions and other relevant literature.
This study has been done with 70 married couples. Samples of the study were selected by random sampling method. Besides this, 2 relevant person and 6 Muslims leaders were selected by employing the purposive method. Independent variables studied were among the adherence to Islamic principles, knowledge about the rights and rotes of wives in Islamic Law, Depending variables were among received right in accordance with Islamic Law, such as living expenses, education, participation in other social activities and the practice of a husbands, looking after the husband?s properties and his children.
The instruments were (1) Questionnaires for interviewing married couples.These questionnaires were consisting of 57 items divided into 5 parts. First parts two was about the general data of married couples. This parts was consisting of 12 items. Parts two was about the adherence two Islamic principles which was consisting of 10 items parts three the was about knowledge, understanding and right of wives according to Islamic Law. There were 6 items in this parts. Parts four was about the received right of wives in accordance with Islamic Law. Parts five was the implementation of right of wives in Islamic Law. (2) Question for in ?depth interview . Besides Muslim keaders, this was to parts was to interview persons who were related to the implementation of Islamic Law on family and Inheritance.
Data obtained were analyzed by studying mean, percentages, standard deviation, correlation,. The level of significance was .05. Beside this, data obtained through in-depth interview was analyzes by inductive Method.
Results of the study were as follows:
1.Mean score of the adherence to Islamic principles was high, its score was 4.44, while mean score of knowledge and understanding about Islam was at moderate level, its score was 3.10, and mean score of independent variables were at moderate level, its score was 3.93.
2.Mean score of received right, including living expenses, education, participation in other social activities were at moderate level, its score was 3.68 score of the practices of wives which were consistent with Islamic Law including obeying and looking after their husband was 4.05 while mean score dependent variables were at moderate level, their score were 3.86.
Findings had supported the started hypotheses.
Recommendations were as follows:
1.Inculcation of knowledge about right and roles of wives in Islamic Law.
2.Establish the strong center of family development in the communities.
